Prizes and Awards open to competition

The same piece of work can only be used to apply for one College award within a three year period.

The information given on the applications will be used solely for the purpose of supporting the objectives of the RCGP in the administration of its awards. All data will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection 1998.

• Paul Freeling Award  - Deadline for 2008 Awards now closed (2009 Deadline End of August)
  
• Disability Care Award  2009  deadlines will be announced soon

• Rose Prize (Details) and Application Guidelines - Deadline 7 January 2009
  
• RCGP/ SAPC Elective Prize - Deadlines as follows:
  

  Adjudication of the prize takes place in two stages.

  First Stage: applicants apply through their Department of General Practice/Primary Care, getting the form signed by the Head of Department). Each Department submits one overall application for national adjudication. (Closing date end of February each year)

  Second Stage: National adjudication by Royal College of General Practitioners’ Awards Committee. (Closing Date end of March each year)
  

• GP Registrar Awards - Deadline for 2008 Awards now closed (2009 Deadline End of July)
  

• Great Expectations Bursaries  -  Deadline for 2008 Awards now closed (RCGP Annual Conference in October 2008)  
  One of the conditions of the prize is that winners should submit a report – please click on the following link for feedback from the Edinburgh Conference on 4 - 6 October 2007.
