training and the practice of present and future General
Practitioners through knowledge and skills which will help and
enable disabled people to live independent lives with
dignity,
- Encourage a wide spectrum of
relevant research; and
- Liaise with Government, professional
organisations, independent organisations, and other bodies, with a
view to participating in the development of policy and services for
the benefit of disabled people.
