RCGP salutes six Women of the Year

The winners of the 2011 Women of the Year
awards were announced at a ceremony last week.
Commenting on this year’s Women of the Year Awards, Dr Clare
Gerada, Chair of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP)
said:
“I would like to extend my congratulations and thanks to six
health professionals who have been presented with the Women of the
Year Award 2011.
“Each of the women has worked to help improve the lives of injured
service personnel and this award represents just how highly their
work, and that of all other health professionals working in this
area, is regarded.”

The RCGP is involved in a lot of work to help recognise and improve
