College President Dr Iona HeathWelcome

I retired from clinical practice in January and am in the process of adjusting to different opportunities as many of you have already done.  I would be very interested to discover the range of activities that our clinically retired members are exploring. I look forward to hearing from you.

Annual Conference

Firmly established as the MUST ATTEND event for GPs and practice team colleagues, the RCGP Annual Primary Care Conference allows those who have retired from general practice to keep up to date with recent clinical and policy developments, enhance your ability to innovate, exercise leadership, think critically and perhaps take back ideas to your new organisations. The Conference also brings together an impressive range of national and international speakers. The theme for 2012 is Global General Practice - the event will be held at the SECC in Glasgow from the 4th - 6th October.

The programme is currently being developed, with further details to be announced shortly. For further information please visit the Conference website.

Retired members can attend the Conference at a heavily reduced rate, and up until the 25th June, can also benefit from an earlybird discount. For further details of registration rates for retired members please click here.
