How to apply for membership
To apply, simply complete an application form and return to our Membership Services Department.
Enclose the correct subscription payment and a photocopy of your JCPTGP/PMETB/GMC certificate of completion of training (or equivalent).
To qualify for membership, you’ll need to have either passed our membership examination, the MRCGP, or MAP, our portfolio-based assessment route.
By applying to become a member, you agree to abide by the requirements set out in RCGP’s constitutional documents.
Joining fees for 2014-2015
Fees are based on your gross income for the year 1 April 2014 to 31 March 2015. While renewal will fall on 1 April each year, joining fees are calculated pro-rata for your first year of membership.
How to pay your joining fees
There are a number of discounted rates available to you based on for example income, residency and professional status.
If you are a UK resident you can claim tax relief on your membership fees.
