Membership by Assessment of Performance (iMAP)

The path to full Membership for established GPs.

RCGP Fundraising

To Do list

iMAP comprises two distinct assessment stages, the production of a satisfactory portfolio followed by an oral assessment, and grants full RCGP membership which is exactly equivalent to that gained by the exam route.

If you have any queries please contact the iMAP Team by email: imap@rcgp.org.uk or by phone: 020 3188 7661.

The portfolio is divided into the fifteen criteria listed below, all of which are relevant to everyday general practice and could be used as evidence for appraisal and Revalidation.

You may now submit the portfolio criteria either individually or all fifteen together as one document.  Click here for a summary of the two different processes.  You could submit some of the criteria for assessing even if you do not wish to complete all fifteen and gain MRCGP.
