Rejoining after a break in membership

These are some questions that your fellow doctors have asked about rejoining

Is it easy to rejoin?

Lots of GPs have been asking about rejoining the College in recent months. The College's involvement in shaping revalidation and the work it is doing to enable GPs to undertake revalidation with ease, has prompted one-time members to rejoin.

Rejoining is easy. You will need to complete a form so that we have all your details as up-to-date as possible. The College does not currently ask for a rejoining fee as some membership bodies do. The subscription fee is also reduced depending on when you rejoin within the subscription year. Fees, Forms and Payments

I was previously a Member, if I wish to re-join do I need to re-sit the exam?

No, you can re-join without re-sitting the exam. However, unless you are retired or live overseas, you will need to be registered with GMC. We may ask you to provide a copy of your JCPTGP/PMETB certificate if we don't have one on file.
