Non member registration fees
You don’t have to become a member of the RCGP (although we’d love you to be), but you still need to pay for some essential elements such as the Trainee ePortolio. The following payments are required to register as a non member:
£925 for up to 4 years of training. Thereafter an annual extension of training fee applied. The 2016 extension of training fee is £139*. To sign up for non-member access please call 0203 188 7766

Associate in Training (AiT) member fees
Trainees in less than full time
If you are undertaking less than full time training, we ask that you complete AiT registration indicating your training pathway. Less than full time trainees (75% or less) receive 50% discounted rate from the standard annual Associate in Training membership subscription fee.
AiTs on maternity leave should notify the Member Services team as soon as possible. A 50% reduction from the standard AiT subscription fee will be applied on the next renewal, due on 1 April each year.
Trainees also have the option to suspend their AiT membership during the period of maternity leave, however, this results in suspension of access to TeP, online exam booking systems and all other tools and benefits. Suspensions can only be applied from the date of notification to Member Services. Upon returning to training, AiTs must notify Member Services to have their membership reinstated and pro-rata fee for the current subscription fee will be payable.
AiT tax relief
Most AiT’s (members of the College) can reduce the cost of their subscription fees by claiming tax relief. Please use the receipt you receive (via email) from us to claim tax back in the usual way.
