RCGP Scotland invites you to a free half-day event to explore and understand quality clusters and person-centred care in Scotland.

Quality Clusters

Quality clusters were introduced in Scotland to facilitate reviewing practice-level quality in a peer-based manner to identify areas for improvement. This session will look at how practices can get the most out of working within quality clusters.

Person-centred care

The RCGP is funded by NHS England to deliver the person-centred care programme, to support GPs and primary care teams deliver person-centred care. The person-centred care approach can reduce pressures on the primary care team and bring increased professional satisfaction to GPs. It empowers individuals to take an active role in managing their own health and well-being, working alongside the GP’s medical expertise and that of other professionals. This session will focus on the work going on in Scotland and England around person-centred care and the benefits and challenges of implementing it in practice.

Bright Ideas

The event will also showcase some of the best Bright Ideas submitted to the RCGP Bright Ideas Awards Programme , which can be easily implemented in general practice.
