Looking Forward To An At Scale Future

Sign-up for this free RCGP half-day event in Bristol to share experiences and successes when working at scale.

This event aims to bring people together to share individual and organisational experiences, including successes and lessons learned, and look to the future to discuss how bigger general practice organisations influences the wider system.

There will be a chance to hear from different at scale organisational leads who will present a case study-style overview of their experiences, which will cover quality, efficiencies and their approach to new models of care. There will also be a Q&A session, a chance to network and share individual experiences, hear more from a system-level perspective and learn about what the RCGP is doing to support people and organisations working at scale.

GPs and primary care staff with an interest in working at scale are encouraged to attend even if they’re not based in the South West of England.

Working Smarter Not Harder - Leading and Managing a Practice

Being part of a team that leads a practice should be fun and exciting or the very least not a heart sink experience. An efficient, well led and managed practice creates the space and time to think and to plan. It minimises crisis management and the stress of continuously having to fire-fight. It will not solve all the problems, sparsity of GPs being one of them, but it will give you a sense of direction and feeling of being in control of events rather than being controlled by them.
