This all-l day interactive workshop aimed at GPs in later career who are looking to rejuvenate themselves in the midst of the many challenges facing primary care. Experienced GPs have much to give, but in the years approaching retirement they are more likely to run into difficulties, feel disillusioned and develop burnout.

Using a mixture of theory, discussion, personal experiences and humour, this session aims to cover areas such as reinventing learning, maintaining clinical performance, managing stress, increasing resilience, engaging with appraisal, sharing expertise and planning retirement.

Happier doctors are more effective doctors!

The venue is Newcastle Falcons, this is subject to change in January due to fixtures at the sporting venue. We will however choose another venue close to Newcastle.
