Morning registration, tea & coffee


Welcome and Introduction.

Joint injection overview - indications, surface anatomy, complications, consent, and technique.


Practical session - joint injection techniques for the knee and shoulder.


Morning break


Practical session - joint injection techniques of the wrist, elbow, and hip. Question and answer and chance to revise joint injection techniques.

Dr Sam Huddlestone

Dr Huddlestone is a GP Partner at Eastham Group Practice, Wirral with a special interest in Sports and exercise Medicine. He has been the club doctor at Tranmere Rovers FC since 2012. He has worked as a team doctor at both the Commonwealth Games in Delhi 2010 and the Olympic Games in 2012. He has ten years experience in providing joint injections, as well as a great deal of experience managing patients with musculoskeletal conditions not only in General Practice but also in athletes.
