Do you want to update your skills in minor surgery? This is an internationally renowned minor surgery course.  The course is designed to accommodate the needs of different levels of expertise, and welcomes applications from Specialist Nurses and Paramedics as well as GPs and Registrars.  It will be GP-led but will bring in expertise from outstanding General and Plastic surgeons.  They will be happy to give individual advice at all levels. Now includes the ingrown toenail!

From April 2009:  GPs undertaking minor surgery need to revalidate with their PCT.  This should include a study day.

Includes a free DVD on suture types and technique which is not available on general release

Feedback from previous courses: Average score 4.6.  “My hand position has changed as a result of the course.  Use of vertical/horizontal/5 point sutures.”  “I will start removing lipomas and sebaceous cysts again.”  “Excellent meeting, thank you.  It has increased my confidence.”
