This is the second on our series of joint study days hosted by the Allergy Academy and the Royal College of General Practitioners. The focus will be allergic disease in adults, addressing common issues faced in general practice, including drug allergy; allergies and asthma; allergic rhinitis; urticaria; and food allergies. This day will complement the earlier day on childhood allergies, but works equally well as a stand-alone study day.

The aims and objectives of the day are:

- to distinguish and manage allergic disease amongst adults

 - to understand the major groups of drug allergies amongst adults

- to institute urticarial management and determine when referral is warranted
