Special Requirements

Please note that the Auditorium is tiered and that there are steps up the stage.

Preparation of Citations and Guidance

All New Fellows are asked to submit a citation even if they are not planning to attend.

These citations help give the audience a flavour of the diverse careers of Fellows and are read out. The citations are also published in a booklet given on the day, and on the RCGP website.

Please add your citation in the online booking form (maximum of 50 words) using the third person and avoiding abbreviations. Professional citations normally do not include statements of religious or political beliefs, nor do they involve personal thanks. We know you are grateful to those who supported and we will make this clear at the ceremony, but the citation is about you and your achievements!

Your citation may be edited to ensure a consistency of style and clarity. Please remember that the citation will be read out and our reader must be comfortable reading the words you have written. Examples of recent citations can be found in the AGM Booklet (from page 22) on the RCGP website
