This whole day get connected event is all about supportive networks and support with challenges we all face at times such as appraisal and revalidation and CQC inspections. During the course of the day there will be workshops on topics such as the practitioners health programme, and how to use social media to build professional supportive social networks. We will also aim where possible to connect people with their faculty in order to facilitate ongoing connections at local levels. This will be an interactive day with lots of useful sessions as well as networking opportunities to help you connect with other GPs both local to you and more widely. Life as a GP can be tough and it is useful to be well connected and aware of the support that exists in the GP community and how to tap into this. We hope the day will prove useful to GPs at any stage in their career including trainees.
