The ‘Red Flag’ learning styles will include a demonstration of the 10 min. Neurological Examinations for the five neurological conditions taking up over 90% of General Practice and community care time.

Q&A approaches will also address when to manage and when to refer in concordance with the latest NICE CGs published January 2018.

1330 – 1400     How to manage the complexities of Migraine – what a headache all around
1400 – 1430     Movement Disorders in Primary Care – Manage or ‘Red Flag for Referral   
1430 – 1500     Motor Neurone Disorders – differential diagnostic ‘Red Flags’ for Primary Care
1500 – 1530     AM Q&A and short break.
1530 – 1600     Epilepsy – Management or Referral - ‘Red Flags’ in NICE CG for acute and long term presentation
1600 – 1630     Epilepsy & non-epileptic attacks – How to spot the difference in Primary Care
1630 – 1640     PM Q&A
