International Representation
The International Committee represents the interests of
general practice in the United Kingdom and the interests of College
members through representations to the United Kingdom government
and the European Commission and to other European and world-wide
bodies.
The World Organisation of Family Doctors aims to improve quality
of life through fostering and maintaining standards of general
practice.
Wonca Europe has five network organisations that aim to uphold
the values of Wonca.
The European Union of General Practitioners is the organisation
for General Practitioners and Specialists in Family Medicine in
Europe.
The Standing Committee of European Doctors aims to further
develop the mobility of professions as well as that of
patients.
