Colleges.
The International Forum of the Academy of Medical
Royal Colleges (AoMRC) was set up in 1998 to bring
together those involved in international activity from medical,
nursing, industrial and non-governmental
organisations.The Forum aims to coordinate the international
activities of the Royal Colleges in order to improve health through
education and training, to share experiences and
expertise and to work collaboratively on health care projects.
Recent collaborative work with the
International Forum has included the reintroduction of Royal
College exams in Iraq and assisting in the development of an Iraqi
primary health care system. The Forum has also recently signed
Memorandums of Understanding with Libya and North and South
Sudan.
