Members
Here you will find information regarding the
International Committee and its role as international and overseas
faculty.
The International Committee acts as the faculty
board on Council for our international and overseas members and our
members resident overseas and responds to requests for assistance
from visitors and other enquirers.
The International Committee aims
- To assist educational exchange and dialogue
between individual doctors, agencies and medical organisations in
the United Kingdom and overseas. To promote the standing and the
study of general practice/family medicine;
- To support overseas members as the Board of
the International and Overseas Faculty;
- To represent the interests of general practice
in the United Kingdom and the interests of College members through
representations to the United Kingdom government and the European
Commission and to other European and world-wide bodies;
- To manage and support activities in relation
to the continuing development and delivery of primary care through
the RCGP International Family Medicine Development Programme.
The Committee is comprised of Council Members,
College Members and co-opted Members for specific expertise.
The RCGP has a dedicated section on their website
regarding Revalidation and there is an FAQ section dedicated
to Revalidation questions of an international nature.
The College welcomes and hosts visits by doctors
from all parts of the World. If you are interested in visiting the
