Single-handed Practice

A number of doctors choose to work without medical partners, although they usually still employ a nurse and other team members. The great advantage of singlehanded practice is the ease of decision-making. If you want a new computer, you buy it. No committees, no controversy. The disadvantage is the risk of professional isolation, although most single-handed GPs meet colleagues at educational meetings.
