Almost all GPs now work as part of a primary health care team - consisting of doctors, nurses, health visitors, administrative staff - and increasingly with other health professionals such as physiotherapists and speech therapists. The different types of practice in the UK include group practices, health centres, singlehanded practices including rural and inner-city.
