Guidance for Authors

Submission

Authors/editors are asked to write a formal letter of submission to the Publishing Manager for consideration and for distribution to the Editor, College Publications.

If manuscripts have more than one author, written confirmation of submission from all the authors is required, along with written agreement by all the authors for one author to act on behalf of the others. Where there is an editor of a multi-author document, such as the proceedings of a conference, the editor is responsible for obtaining permission for publication from each author and passing it on to the Publishing Department.

Authors are responsible for disclosing financial and any other conflicts of interest that might bias their work or the opinion of the referees.

The manuscript should be submitted on disk together with three good quality typed copies. Guidance on presentation of typescripts and disks is given below.

Please note that it is not permissible to submit academic material to more than one publisher at a time and authors should inform the editor of any previous reports that might be regarded as prior or duplicate publication of the same or similar work.
