This web resource has been developed to
provide support and guidance for GPs and other primary health care
professionals, enabling them to provide high quality care for
people nearing the end of their life.

This resource has been developed in response to requests from
grassroots GPs and practice nurses during consultation sessions for
a ‘one stop shop’ to support local practice in end of life care. In
addition, the web resource aims to be a means of ongoing support to
help GP practices to deliver the kind of care described in the RCGP
RCN End of Life Care Patient Charter.
The site is a vehicle for highlighting
current developments updates and new resources , with practical
guidance, links to existing educational and training resources, and
signposting to other useful websites and resources.
