Urinary tract infections are frequently seen in primary care. What may seem initially a simple diagnosis, on closer inspection and reflection can be quite complex.

This course explains the importance and appropriateness of diagnostics and offers advice on how to assess and treat patients with a range of urinary symptoms. It encourages reflection on how to minimise antibiotic resistance and offers ‘real-life’ cases.

This course has been developed in partnership with Public Health England's Primary Care Unit. It was funded by an educational grant from Public Health England.

Access to this course is FREE to all primary healthcare professionals in the UK.
