Practice Administration Team
Award
Our Practice Admin Team Award
recognises the tremendous contribution practice administration
teams make to general practice in Wales.
It acknowledges the valuable dedication and
contribution of the whole administration team from clerical staff,
filing clerks and telephonists through to receptionists,
secretaries and practice managers.
The competition promotes team-working and is
motivational in showing how valued the administration staff are
within the practice.
All practices can apply for the award with
forms and further information about the award available via email
from our Project Manager Susan Court at scourt@rcgp.org.uk.
The forms are not complicated and will ask
for information about how the team communicates and how it works
together.
The award consists of a specially engraved crystal trophy,
commemorative certificate and photograph and £200 for the winning
team.
Runners-up receive a plaque, certificate, photograph and £50 for
the team while each finalist will receive a trophy, photograph and
certificate.
Nominations close at the end of September each
year with the annual award presented at a ceremony in December.
All short-listed teams will receive two free
tickets to the RCGP Wales Annual Gala Dinner to be held at City
Hall in Cardiff on Friday 11 December 2009 where this year's
winning practice admin team will be presented with their
trophy.
