Wales Practice Administration Team
of the Year Award
2008
The Royal College of General
Practitioners in Wales would like to recognise the tremendous
contribution the practice administration teams make to General
Practice in Wales.
We recognise and value the dedication
and professionalism of the whole adminstration team -
-
receptionist
-
clerical staff
-
practice manager
-
filing clerks
-
telephonist
-
secretary
The award consists of a specially engraved crystal trophy, a
commemorative certificate and photograph and £200 for the winning
team. The runner up will receive a plaque, certificate,
photograph and £50 for the team. Each finalist will receive a
trophy, photograph and certificate.
All short listed teams will receive two free tickets to the Gala
Celebration Evening on 8th December 2008, at the City Hall in
Cardiff, where the awards will be announced.
All practices are eligible to apply. Application forms and

The forms are not complicated
and will ask for information about how the team communicates, and
about team working.
Why You Should Apply
This competition promotes team working, and is
motivational. It shows how valued the administration staff
are within the practice.
