Basic Minor Surgery Study Day

Thursday 12th June 2008 Marriott St Pierre Marriott Chepstow

 

RCGP Wales would like to take this opportunity of telling you about a new event we are running next year in collaboration with Dermal Laboratories Limited and Molnlycke Healthcare entitled Primary Care Basic Minor Surgery Study day.

 

The event will take place at the Marriott St Pierre Marriott Chepstow Thursday 12th June 2008 and will be interactive with many practical hands on sessions which will include:

 

Practical Sessions Include:

4 x 45 mins Practical Sessions with a 1:10 tutor to student ratio.

Covering the following surgical techniques

 

* Simple Flap & plasty procedures * Simple extension flap * Rhomboid plasty
* Buried subcutaneous stitching * Wound edge eversion * Ellipse excision
* Running subcuticular stitching

 

* Horizontal mattress suture

* Dog ear repair
* Vertical mattress sutures * H - plasty

* A to T plasty

Places will be strictly limited to 40 therefore if you would like us to reserve you a place on the Basic Minor Surgery Day please complete the booking form  where required and we look forward to its receipt either via email or post in due course.

 

The cost for this event is £160 for non members of the Royal College and £140 for members.

 

Please ensure to send your cheque for the full amount to cover the course fees as this will guarantee your place, if you are a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, can you note your membership number on the back of the cheque.
