Who Is Involved?


The RCGP has a central role in setting standards for recertification and designing the methods by which GPs will be evaluated against those standards. RCGP has a framework for revalidation which includes:

  • Good Medical Practice for General Practitioners
  • Principles of GP Appraisal
  • Criteria, Standards and Evidence
  • Managed CPD System
