How do I become an EPASS Provider?

An EPASS Provider is a group, company or organisation that provides postgraduate educational activities for GPs and other Primary Care professionals. In order to gain approval to become an EPASS Provider, you must agree to meet a list of criteria specified in the License and Accreditation Agreement.   One of the main qualifying criteria specified in this agreement is that the Provider must nominate an individual who is:
  • a practicing General Practitioner; and
  • actively involved in the organisation and/or presentation of the EPASS activities arranged by that Provider
The License and Accreditation Agreement has been designed to ensure EPASS Providers provide quality education above all else and with GPs educational needs specifically in mind.

If you are interested in applying for EPASS Accreditation, please contact a member of the EPASS Team at epass@rcgp-scotland.org.uk or telephone 0131 260 6800. The application process for EPASS is extremely simple and straightforward. There are three forms which need to be completed and submitted, which can be found in the Forms section of the webpage.
