Professional Development

Professional Development is a core activity for RCGP Scotland. We are committed to providing our members with guidance and support throughout their careers in relation to education and the maintenance of professional standards and intellectual fulfilment.

By working with other organisations we become aware of (and are then able to influence) policy developments within general practice. We then use this knowledge and understanding to incorporate new challenges into educational opportunities and provide a range of educational activities and materials.

These pages are aimed at aiding reviewers in conducting visits for review of the Quality and Outcome Framework (QOF).  QPA is a quality assurance process undertaken by practice teams. It recognises a high standard of quality patient care delivered by every member of the practice team. mQPA was developed in response to calls for a more manageable, modularised approach to QPA.
