What does nPEP offer?
A01. nPEP:
- Allows you to complete 150 questions/items
based on RCGP Curriculum Statements.
- Contains the four different question/item
types used in the nMRCGP exam.
- Is predominantly an Applied Knowledge Test
(AKT)
- Offers questions/items with realistic
scenarios that reflect clinical events encountered in day to day
practice.
- Has an interactive report facility to allow
you to identify your specific educational needs and support you in
your self learning revision work.

What do I need to access nPEP?
A02. A computer with internet
access, your username and password.

How do I access nPEP?
A03. Visit
www.npep.org.uk and register to the
website.

Do I have to download nPEP?
A04. No, nPEP was designed as an
online interactive learning tool. It can be accessed at any time
from any computer with internet access.
Q05. How many questions are within the
whole of nPEP?
A05. 150
Q06.
How many topics are there?
A06. 28 topics, including 9 which
are non-clinical. All topics are from the RCGP Curriculum
Statements.
Q07. How long does it take to complete the
whole of nPEP?
A07. Approximately 2 hours

Can I redo nPEP once I finish?
A08. Yes, you can redo nPEP for
an additional £20
Q09.
Do I have to complete nPEP in any specific order?
A09. No, you can start with
any question and come in and out as you wish.
Q10. What happen if I am called away on business
and close nPEP down?
A10. nPEP automatically saves
your record to the point you have been working in.
Q11. How is my progress recorded on
nPEP?
A11. You can follow your progress
using the interactive pie chart. After completing
all questions you be able to view a summary of your scores and
print a Certificate of Completion.
Q12. Can I review the questions once I
completed nPEP?
A12. Yes, you can use the
interactive 'To Do List' to support you in your self
learning revision work.
Q13. Does nPEP get upgraded?
A13. Referencing and feedback are
updated every 6 months.
Q14. Can I still use my PEP eKit?
A14. Yes

Q16. How do I purchase nPEP?
A16. Visit
http://www.npep.org.uk/, register and
follow the purchase instructions within the tool. Alternatively
download the order form from the
'How
to Purchase?' section and send it back to us with
payment.
Q17. Can I purchase more than one
activation?
A17. Yes, but only by postal
order
Q18. Can I purchase multi user
activation?
A18. No, multi-user activations
are not available for nPEP.
Q19. How much does nPEP cost?
A19. Standard Rate:
- RCGP Member: £100
- RCGP Non-Member: £130
- SpR GP (non-AiT): £75
- AiT: one access is
included in AiT package

nPEP can be purchased a second time for £20.
Q20. Do I get a discount if I purchase more than
one activation?

A21. Yes, you get one access to nPEP within your package.
Simply register to the website using your unique AiT number.
Q22. Can I get a refund if I do not like the
product?
A22. Before purchasing nPEP
please read the RCGP Scotland's
Terms
and Conditions for nPEP which clearly states that it is a
'business to business' transaction therefore we will not consider
any request for refunds.
Q23. Can I still purchase PEP
eKit?
A23. No, PEP eKit is no longer available for
purchase.
Q24. Is your payment section
secure?
A24. Yes, we use a company called
'Secure Trading', which is one of the UK's leading internet payment
providers, for all our transactions. For further information visit

Q25. Can I have a receipt for my
purchase?
A25. Yes, when purchasing nPEP
online, an automated receipt is emailed to the address stated at
registration. If you purchase nPEP by post, please request for a
receipt when sending in your order form.
Q26. Can I be invoiced for the purchase of
nPEP?
A26. Yes, please send us your
order form and a covering letter with invoice details.
