Interacting With Members
The College in Scotland links with members at a number of levels:
Scottish wide
– All the work done by the College in Scotland is designed to take forward the aims and objectives of the College and to support members in their work with patients. In addition to working on behalf of members most effectively with the Scottish Parliament and NHS Scotland, we actively look for ways to interact with members wherever they are in Scotland, usually on a topic or interest basis.
Locally
– At a local level the College in Scotland has five faculties (or area offices). Each provides a range of activities for members as well as a focus point from which the College can interact with a wide range of members and the NHS, in designated geographical areas.
UK Wide
- Being College members in Scotland brings added value on top of maintaining membership of a UK wide body with all its inherent advantages and general benefits.
