Welcome to the North Scotland Faculty Home Page

 

The North of Scotland Faculty covers the whole of the Highlands and Western Isles and despite being fairly small in terms of membership numbers - 35 Fellows, 197 Members and 54 Associates (as at March 2007) geographically the terrain which it encompasses is immense!

 

The Faculty manages the Highland Schools Medical Mentor Scheme (HSMMS) and as such would be the first point of contact to support Highland school pupils who wish to pursue a career in Medicine or indeed other health related careers.  

 

The Faculty Office is located within the Scottish Voluntary Office (SCVO) in Fairways House, Fairways Business Park, Inverness and is managed on a daily basis by the Faculty Administrator.
