Welcome to the site of the Northern Ireland Council of the Royal
College of General Practitioners. As you will see on the pages
within this site, we aim to bring a local flavour to the work of
the College in Northern Ireland. Our Council is made up of member
GPs who give voluntarily of their time to further the objectives of
the College in Northern Ireland. We are always very pleased to
welcome any members who would like to contribute to the work of the
college in Northern Ireland – please feel free to contact us.
Our
Council meetings take please on a quarterly basis and the minutes
of the last meeting are here; the next council
meeting will be held on 22nd February in the Holiday
Inn Belfast. All members are entitled to attend the Council
meetings as observers and should declare their intention to attend
at least one week in advance of the meeting. Any motions or
comments from members to be raised at the Council meeting should be
forwarded in writing to the Council Chairman, Dr David
Johnston, 10 working days in advance of the meeting.
