Primary Care Research Team Assessment

Dr Sheena McMain and the Research Team at the Meanwood Medical Practice have been accredited as an Investigator Led Research Practice through the RCGP Primary Care Research Team Assessment (PCRTA).

Primary Care Research Team Assessment is a quality initiative designed to be supportive in helping practices develop their research skills, systems and capabilities. The process offers detailed standards which help practices to develop and improve the relevant research systems to ensure compliance with the Research Governance Framework. Practices are asked to gather written evidence to demonstrate how they meet the criteria which is reviewed by a multidisciplinary team of assessors who are appointed to appraise the evidence and visit the practice.

For further information please view the PCTRA Section.
