Principal Responsibilities
The President is the constitutional head of
the RCGP, representing the College on all formal and state
occasions, and acting as an ambassador for the College, its members
and general practice as a discipline. The President chairs General
Meetings and various committees that are crucial to the running of
the College, signs all membership and fellowship certificates and
intervenes in constitutional matters that cannot be resolved by
Council or its officers.
