Principal Responsibilities
The Chair of the International Committee leads
and coordinates the delivery of the RCGP’s international work,
ensuring all Overseas and International members’ interests
are represented, and advising on international policy and
medico-political links. The incumbent oversees the work of medical
directors in key international projects such as the MRCGP[INT]
accreditation and the International Development Programme, as well
as ensuring the College receives formal international
representation at relevant meetings, networks and forums such as
WONCA, EURACT and UEMO.
