GP of the Year: Nominated By Patients

Nominate your GP to recognise the excellent care they give


Aim of the Award

The award recognises outstanding patient care by allowing patients in Scotland to directly nominate their GP for the award.

 

Eligibility

The award will be given a GP in Scotland who has provided excellence in and/or substantial contribution to patient care as nominated by a patient or former patient.

 

Process

Selection will be by nomination form submitted by the patient to RCGP Scotland. A panel of patients and GPs will review and approve the nominations and select a winning entry.

 

 

Criteria

The award is open to all GPs in Scotland. If appropriate, more than one award can be given yearly as determined by the Scottish Council.

Presentation

The 2012 award will be presented at the RCGP Scotland Gala Evening at The Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh on 9 November.
