RCGP Scotland Gala Evening 2011
The RCGP Scotland
Gala Evening took place on the 11th November 2011 at
The Hub,
Edinburgh attended by around 170 guests including GPs,
practices team and representatives from Scottish Government and key
stakeholder organisations.
Dr Andrew Murray, Edinburgh GP
and star of the recent BBC documentary 'The Ultimate Marathon Man'
was guest speaker at the Gala. Andrew has worked as a doctor on 6
continents and the North Pole and has won races in many extreme
environments. He recently ran 2659 miles from John O Groats to
Morocco in 78 consecutive days.
Awards
The RCGP Scotland awards for 2011 were presented at the event
including, GP of the Year and the Practice Team Award. For details
