RCGP Northern Ireland Practice Managers Forum
The aim of the RCGP Practice Managers Forum is to provide
practice managers with a network of support, allowing
a platform to share information, ideas and views on the smooth
running of practice life.
The Forum currently has over 120 members but the number is
increasing everyday as a result of the positive feedback from
practice managers. If you need advice or support regarding a
specific issue there will always be someone on the Forum who can
offer a solution.
The Practice Managers Forum Committee is made up of 3 practice
managers:
- Mrs Anita McCreesh (Chair)
- Mrs Jackie Barr
- Mrs Carmel Little
Covering a wide geographical area in Northern Ireland, they are
able to identify the issues and concerns affecting practice
managers from across the province. The Committee meet 4 times per
year to discuss the way forward for the Practice Managers Forum and
to highlight training needs. They also write to the key
stakeholders in the primary care field on behalf of The
Practice Managers Forum to seek clarification on any issues of
concern.
The Practice Managers Forum Committee are also called upon to
answer many queries which are raised via the forum.

RCGP Northern Ireland Practice Managers Website
The Royal College of GPs in conjunction with MySurgery Website
are currently in the process of developing a new website to support
practice managers across the province. The website has been set up
to assist practice managers in the everyday running of a medical
practice. This website is intended to have all documentation
practice managers require on a daily basis. We rely on practice
managers to provide us with any documentation or important
information which would be beneficial to practice
managers province wide. If you would like to provide us with some
information to upload onto the website please send this to NICouncil@rcgp.org.uk.
The website will also keep you informed of any training
events we may be running for practice managers, GPs and
receptionists.
Practice Managers Forum - Newsletter
The Practice Managers News Update is produced bi-annually in the
Autumn and Spring of each year and is emailed to all members of the
