Membership
By becoming a member of the
College you are helping to support the College’s aims and in so
doing, are contributing to the development of general practice as a
discipline. The College has been instrumental in developing the
educational standards for general practice, through vocational
training, the College assessment, and now the new GP curriculum.
Similarly in quality, the College has led the way in researching
and developing many of the standards that form the bedrock of
evidence-based medicine in the UK.
The College cannot continue this work without the support of its
members and in turn is always looking for ways in which to give
members tangible benefits as well as a range of other benefits as
part of their return on an annual subscription.
Being active members of RCGP
means that general practitioners support the aims of the RCGP and
contribute to the development of general practice as a discipline.
In turn, the RCGP is always looking for ways in which to give
members tangible benefits as well as a range of other benefits as
part of their return on an annual subscription.
A range of broader benefits are accessible by viewing further
information contained in the
RCGP
website.
