Welcome to the South London Faculty Home Page

 
The South London Faculty is one of the 31 Regional Faculties of the RCGP, located throughout the United Kingdom (see College Web Site).  The faculty provides a forum for College Fellows, Members and Associates who are keen to maintain standards of excellence in General Practice.
 
Our Membership currently consists of 1320 General Practitioners from all areas of South London.

The Faculty has an elected Board who is responsible for the running of the Faculty.  This includes:
  • Representing faculty members' interests on College Council and relevant external bodies
  • Looking after the faculty’s finances
  • Developing communications with, and between, faculty members
  • Providing nMRCGP preparation courses
  • Advising candidates undertaking membership by assessment of performance (iMAP)
  • Producing, in partnership with NE London and N&W London Faculties, a twice-yearly magazine called London Journal of Primary Care
