Access help
The following instructions are for RCGP members who would like
to access Recent issues of the BJGP online. (If you are not a
member, please view our FAQs or contact
IngentaConnect.)
Please note that back issues of the BJGP, from 1953 to 1 year ago,
are freely available to all at the Archive.
Step-by-step access
1. On the left menu, select 'Recent issues'.
2. Select 'Members' login', then enter your RCGP member ID
(or email address) and password.
3. This will take you to the BJGP Members' Page. On that page,
click 'Access Online Journal Articles'.
4. You should now be able to view BJGP online.
Troubleshooting
- If you can't remember your password, enter your email address
at: forgotten
your password
- If you do not know your RCGP member ID, email: membership@rcgp.org.uk
- If you are an RCGP Associate in Training requiring login
details, email: ait@rcgp.org.uk
- Make sure you are using your RCGP member ID and password
(rather than an Ingenta Personal Subscription login)
- Your RCGP ID and password are case sensitive, so if you are
unable to login, please try with cap-lock on/off. Try different
combinations, and make a note of the correct combination
- Make sure that there is no additional space on either side
of your login and password when you enter them
- You will know that you are logged in when you reach step 4
(above) and there is a yellow 'S' symbol to the left of each
journal item
- If you are still having problems, please email the journal

- If you are not a member of the RCGP you can Subscribe to the
journal, and login to the BJGP on our partnership
site: IngentaConnect.
