How much does the Referee need to write?

As much or as little as the referee feels is suitable as long as they sufficiently outline their perceptions of the applicant’s working style, achievements and commitments as well as fully describing their relationship with the candidate. Referees should also bear in mind that, in some circumstances, their contribution to the process can assist adjudicators considerably in supporting the candidate’s personal statements.
