Peer Support

Professional isolation can affect many of us even when working in large practices. The College, in its role as a membership organisation, is committed to helping bring GPs together to share ideas and to support one another.

The College has local offices (faculties) across the UK and the Republic of Ireland and devolved council offices in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Each of these centres provides a focus that actively encourages members to network. Activities are organised by members and supported by staff, and include such things as social occasions, lectures, and educational events, as well as keeping members informed via regular newsletters. Details of the faculties in the four English regions can be accessed here.

In addition, our Overseas Faculty provides support, information, and networking activities for members who are working in countries across the world.
