Membership fees for international GPs

The RCGP membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March with renewal due on 1 April each year.

Overseas membership fees apply to:

  • Associates, members and fellows living outside the UK
  • International members and fellows (MRCGP[INT] /  FRCGP[INT])

Country of residence 

Overseas resident membership fees are based on the World Bank country classification list. Fees are applied by your current country of residence or medical practice, not your nationality or place of birth.

Payment

The membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March. Renewal is due on 1 April each year, so we’ll reduce your annual membership fee if you join or re-join part way through the year.

For UK doctors living overseas who maintain a UK bank account, Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay. You can also pay by:

  • sterling cheque / bankers draft - payable to Royal College of General Practitioners
  • debit / credit card

We do not accept American Express.
